What this is
LarkKit is a small collection of free, no-signup online tools: material calculators for home & garden projects, in-browser image tools, and a ring size converter. It is run as an independent side project. There is no company, no credentialed expert panel, and no claim to professional certification behind it — just tools we try to keep correct.
How the tools are checked
Each tool's math is tested against hand-computed reference values before release (for example, standard ring-size tables, or 3000×2000 px at 300 PPI printing at exactly 10×6.67 in). We re-run those checks after every change. That said, the tools are planning aids, not professional instruments:
- Material estimates don't replace a contractor's takeoff or local building requirements.
- A printable ring sizer is only as good as your printer settings — always check the calibration marks.
- Image tools process your files locally; output quality still depends on your source files.
Found a mistake?
We'd rather hear about it than have you work around it. A useful report includes:
- Which tool and what you entered
- What you expected vs. what you got
- Your browser and device, if it looks display-related
Every reported calculation error is verified against reference values, and confirmed bugs are fixed first. A direct contact channel is being added; until then, this page is the way to understand how the site is run.
